2.06 Enter "Team Control" and set the involved teams to "Man"

2.07 Enter "Team Data" where each coach will adjust the line-ups and playbooks for his team.

2.071 Player Position Options:

2.08 Enter "Schedule" and set the auto-skip option to "Week 1"

2.09 Enter "Game Start" and before the game starts, both coaches are required to film the game if played in Nestopia. To film a game, in Nestopia please see Chapter 2 in the Handbook.

2.10 All games must be on default timing within the emulator's settings.  Any manipulation is not allowed.

In-Game Procedures

3.01 The coin toss should not be skipped under any circumstances.

3.02 Use of DL is allowed. Lurching is not allowed. If you want to go after the QB as a DL you must either grapple with an OL or go around the far said of either Tackle.

3.03 The use of 4th man down is only allowed on XP, you cannot use 4th man down on FG attempts.

3.04 The coach with possession of the ball is required for the defense to settle on his defender before snapping the ball.

3.05 Tackling a player in possession of the ball after he has entered the end zone is considered unsportsmanlike and is prohibited. This can result in a player losing his stats for that particular play and makes the commissioner grumpy.

3.06 With the exception to injury, a coach should only check conditions once per quarter. This is intended to uphold the flow of a game.

3.07 Onside kicks are permitted only in the 4th quarter by the losing team, or at any time in the game when the kicking team is trailing by 14 or more points. Onside kicks in overtime are prohibited.

3.08 An unintentional disconnect requires both players to start another game, and play out the time that remained from the first game. The scores will be added to get a final score. Both players may agree to replay the game as a whole, but only if both parties agree.  Both parts of the game will need to be sent in, even if its just the videos.

3.09 An intentional disconnect will result in the expulsion of the offending coach from the ATA. It is considered immature, and will not be tolerated.

3.10 Games must be played out with effort all the time, lack of effort or collusion to help each other will likely result in the expulsion of the offending coach(es) from the ATA. It is considered immature, and will not be tolerated.

Post-Game Procedures
4.01 Any time after the game, while on the blue screen, hit the save button to save the state of the game.

4.02 Stop the film. The film and save should be named in the format of ATAs1teamVteamw1.nsm s=season, w=week.

4.03 If the game was a merger of two half games as result of a disconnect, both are required to be filmed and saved.

4.04 Both players are required to have the film and the state file in their possession until after the America Bowl in the current season.

4.05 The winner of the game will be required to upload the state to the website.

4.06 Please let us know if you need time away, its ok, its just a hobby, vanishing without notice can result in expulsion from the league.
